We are licensed general contractors in the state of Louisiana since the 1980s, licensed in building construction, highway, street, and bridge construction, as well as municipal and public works construction.
Precasters
We have over 50,000 square feet of indoor crane-supported precasting area! As well as a 80 ton gantry crane supported vast outdoor precasting area. Products we have precasted are tanks, beams, poles, slabs, flare pads, retaining walls, sea walls, fences, buildings/sheds, horse stalls, swimming pools, safe rooms, feed troughs, composting/containment tanks, planter boxes, etc.
Wastewater Specialists
We provide comprehensive wastewater solutions, including systems, grease traps, oil-water separators, valve-boxes, grit chambers, custom bar screens, and lift stations, ensuring efficient waste management for various applications. We have a full fabrication shop to make any custom aluminum, stainless, or carbon products all in-house.
Manufacture Parts Distributor
We are authorized OEM Dealers for pump equipment through Goulds; blowers through Roots; control panels and equipment through OEC, SPI, SJE; motors through WEG; silencers/filters through Stoddard; and of course all Hoot products!
Maintenance Providers
Our service technicians are skilled in handling both field and in-shop repairs. We also offer maintenance contracts to help manage issues before they become major problems.
Vacuum Truck Service Provider
We provide reliable pump out services for both grease and sewer applications, ensuring your systems remain clean and operational. We are licensed and insured for both grease and sewer applications.
About Murphy Cormier General Contractors
Murphy Cormier founded Murphy Cormier General Contractors in Lake Charles, Louisiana in 1971. He saw a need for a sewer system that was kinder to the environment, cheaper for the builder, and easier for the homeowner. Over time, Murphy improved his design and created residential systems for other states and commercial systems for every industry across the United States. In all that time, he never changed his goal: reduce pollution without raising costs. Murphy passed his passion on to his children and grandchildren, who continue his example of innovation at Murphy Cormier General Contractors today.
